Day One

10:00 pm on day one.

My calorie allowance is 1900 per day.
My fluid intake is 150 ounces.

Due to my crazy schedule last week, I did not plan as well for today as I wish I had. In addition to working, I go to college full-time. I had two 20 page papers due. I hit the store after work and should be good to go now.

Food today:

Eggs - Scrambled (whole egg), 2 large    230 calories 203
Arnold - Honey Whole Wheat Bread, 2 slices   200 calories
Bordens - 2% American Cheese Slice, 3 slices  150 calories
 Hellmans - Mayo, 1 TBSP  90 calories
Progresso Traditional Soup - Turkey Noodle Soup, 1 can  160 calories
Nature Valley - Crunchy Granola Bar - Apple Crisp, 2 bars  160 calories
 Strawberries - Raw, 2 cup, sliced 106 calories
Nature Valley - Crunchy Granola Bar - Apple Crisp, 2 bars  160 calories

Total calories: 1229

I was pretty paranoid about staying below my 1900. I need to up the protein too, I think.


Fluids:

64 ounces of unsweetened brewed tea
64 ounces of water
will have 12 more ounces when I take antibiotic
140 ounces total
short 10 ounces and I've peed more today than I did all last week

  1. Hi there, I'm doing Allen's challenge too!! For me the single most important thing for me to be successful each day is planning the day before...it's so much harder if I don't.

    I'm not going to wish you luck because this challenge, and losing weight, isn't about luck. It's about hard work and determination and we are going to do it!
